The first UHPC bridge deck mid supported steel truss arch bridge in China ——the Cross Tuhai River Bridge in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province,

 has been officially opened to traffic。

On the morning of November 10th, the opening ceremony of the Heilongjiang Road Cross Tuhai River Bridge

in Liaocheng Economic and Technological Development Zone was held, marking the official opening of the Heilongjiang Road Cross Tuhai River Bridge.

As an important component of the "Three Bridges and Two Roads" project in the development zone, the Heilongjiang Road Cross Tuhai River Bridge project is a key 

livelihood project planned and implemented by the development zone in recent years, and also an important node in the road traffic framework of the main urban

 area of Liaocheng. The total length of the bridge is 860 meters, the main bridge is 252 meters long, the bridge width is 46 meters, and it has eight lanes in both directions.

 It is the first mid supported steel truss arch bridge in China to adopt UHPC bridge deck system.

The smooth opening of the bridge not only connects the east-west transportation development axis in the northern part of Liaocheng, greatly facilitating the travel of the masses

 and easing the traffic pressure in the urban area, but also marks the completion and operation of the "Three Bridges and Two Roads" project in the development zone, further 

reconstructing the transportation pattern on both sides of the Tuhai River, and has significant implications for expanding urban development space and accelerating high-quality

economic and social development.
